I doing a a dust collection job for a client. Built and installed the cyclone, ran the piping, and installed the blast gates. Now I'm working on DC hoods for several machines, one of which is a Shopsmith lathe he uses with a sanding disk. I remembered seeing an article a couple years back in ShopNotes on a disk sander built to fit on a lathe. It included a DC port. Searching the ShopNotes index, I found out that a "couple years back," was ELEVEN YEARS BACK (Jan 2000). Time sure does fly when you are having fun! Bruce
