I had a lot of fun doing demos and sharing with people about NCWW. I'm home now and my voice is horse. Miss Mona is picking at my about my voice. I'd go back and do this event again, I meet some really cool people and I feel we represented the site well.

I am new here thanks to the folks that were at the Charlotte show. The folks there were great and informative.
The gentleman running the scroll saw was very generous with his time. The ornaments he made were fantastic.

I don't know I would call myself a gentleman. I hope you learned something and had a good time. Thanks for stopping by.

I am writing this entry to bring this thread (temporarily) to the top of the "Home" page. Why am I doing this? I would like more members and guests to see the pictures made at this Outreach event. In these photos one can see the volunteer's enjoyment of providing demonstrations and interacting with those who were interested in NCWW. Of course the pleasure of working and socializing with other members is seen in the photos. In summary, what I'm saying is you can be a part of the pleasure of volunteering at our next Outreach event.

Thanks Berta and Barry for herding the cats and making it possible. I have held that BOD position. I know what it takes. For those who unsure about helping on a outreach event trust me your efforts are greatly appreciated and you will have fun.
