So now it sits in our kitchen

The little vase type sitting beside of it was suppose to be a candle holder but as all of you turners know things change so I made it into a Bud Vase RO and BW

AHH come on guys you can tell me what I did wrong - please:eusa_pray:gar-La;

:dontknow: nothing wrong.... the customer didnt like it:cool: it happens. customers can be fickle sometimes. maybe they wanted shiny or taller or?????????????? hard to tell. I have a lot of pieces that dont sell right away. some never sell. I either lower the price of give them as gifts.:icon_thum mostly I'd rather give them to friends or family than to lower the $. but then I'm cranky like that!:rotflm:

Thanks Fred:icon_thum The bowl is to small for what she wanted it for - I have given up on bowls for the time being - I am not going to turn anymore bowls until I can get the right tools and someone teach me how to do it - I am going to stick with spindle work and see what turns up

Phillip,

You probably made the classic mistake - giving the customer what they ask for instead of what they want. :)
