Technique Question

Anyone ever hook up their shop vac used for miter saw dust collection to the blower port…prepare to make a cut…turn on said vac…and subsequently get covered from head to belt in sawdust? Asking for a friend.

Did you try to reverse the power plug on the Shop Vac?

Actually that friend of yours was probably just wanting to blow out some debris clogging the saw pickup. Sounds like a pretty smart feller. Bet it worked!
Here is a photo of an vintage Snap-on ratchet after installing a rebuild kit. My memory is not that good, maybe a friend reassembled it.
