Stubby Pocket Hole Twist Bit

A shorter twist bit used with a kreg micro jig? Does such a thing exist?

Why I’m trying to find such a bit: I plan to install stair treads on existing stringers without acces from underneath and plan to use pocket holes (with adhesive).

wondering if you could use a 90degree drill adapter with a regular length bit? Or... grind the end off a regular micro-jig-sized bit?

Yes, I forgot to mention I’m using a right angle adapter—necessary if the need of a hex twist bit.

Not ground the same as a pocket hole bit, but may work in a pinch.

Admittedly, I haven't read the post through so I maybe missing the point but just as an FYI, short drills are known as screw machine length or s/m drill bits.
