Steel buildings sure are nice for work shops. But way to easy for insects (mainly crickets in my case) mice, spiders and other varmints to enter through the bottom of the steel panels. However there is a quick fix... Rip some long lengthes of 1x however wide you need to close the enterances and staple it up tight to the bottom of the wall panels on the exterior. I did this 32 x 50 building in under an hour and haven't seen or heard a cricket inside yet. I would have preferred ERC but didn't have enough on hand. Of course formed steel flashing would last longer but I just wanted to get rid of those darn crickets... They can drive a man crazy.
