Sofa Table

Recently completed this walnut arched stretcher base sofa table using a live edge walnut slab that my wife had purchased a few years back for the top. This was my first project requiring laying out and cutting a large arch. The arch was formed with three layers of 4/4 glued up with overlapping joints, I could not find 8/4 like the plans called for in stock anywhere at the time I was shopping. I used a bandsaw to cut it out, and will probably use a router with a circle cutting jig in the future to get a smoother cut that does not require as much sanding. The legs are mortised and tenoned into the top brace and feet. Overall, I learned a bunch and had fun building it.
Thanks,
Nick

Very nicely done - Nick.
Wonder when my wife will come home with a slab to make into a table? (never?)
