The other day I couldn't find my scraper [I'm always mislaying stuff.] but I did know where my chainsaw was. After yrs of using these things, I've found that the chains will raise a burr along the edge of the bar...making for a really wide, scraper blade - with four ready to use edges.
The 20" bar I chose to use had been bent into a 90 degree angle [tractor mishap]. I hadn't gotten around to tossing it into the trash...so after cutting it into halves, I've saved myself a little $$$ and a trip to the store, and I can still cut one of the pieces into two shorter lengths.
