When ROS first came out there were no commercial sanding sitters. Most of us made one from plastic coffee can lids loosely screwed to a piece of scrap. Original base was victim of last nights flooding. Neighbor suggested I pass this along.

Not quite getting the concept. Is that an old speaker??? I do like the idea of the coffee can lids, I'll have to try that before my ROS takes another erratic final spin and flips itself of the table again :-?

It's a Folgers coffee can lid. The black is caused by years of scrubbing action. The tan part is cut from carpet pad. I'll cut out a round piece of ply scrap and stick a shower flower on the bottom to keep from slipping, when I get a chance. Everything else is waxed.
