SWMBO wanted a narrow table to go in our bath room. She wanted it to match the wall paper and the painting on the wall. This is what I came up with. It's poplar with a red milk paint under coat and

black milk paint that I sanded thru to let some red and bare wood show. Then it was finished with BLO and wax.

Nice job on the table, Larry. And I almost hate to ask this, but how "quick" was quick? Do we need to put you in the speed building category w/ FredP? :wink_smil

I'll admit that my initial reaction to the Title of the thread was............"You need a special table for that?" :embaresse

As for the table........Simple, elegant, a hint of age in the new. Well done.

Ron, I made a template with the shape I wanted and cut it out on the bandsaw and finished with spoke shaves and a card scraper. And Bill, it took two weekends to build maybe 10-12 hrs.

Looks classy and well made. Like the design especially the curved legs and looks great with the painting and the artistic place. Great job!
