I posted a couple “ in progress” pictures earlier. Moved it in the house today! Next project is a matching footstool with leftovers from this project.

Perfect - that is exactly what I need under my new big screen TV. It is just perfectly scaled to what I need. Do you have a plan or at least the dimensions that you could share with me. I've really been struggling with how much QSWO that I need to purchase for this project. Any help on dimensions, amount of lumber, or specific plans would really move my project forward.

This looks great and is exactly the thing I need to build to replace the old modern TV stand that doesn't fit with the rest of our Craftsman Style furniture.

Thanks for sharing.

Looks great. I now understand the shelves! Was thinking 'dining table' on the other post.

Thanks for the kind words... I had fun with this project... my first mortise and tenon project. There were 66 mortises I did on my Craigslist find benchtop mortice machine. I attached my “plans” I drew and the finish process that I adapted from Jeff Jewett’s Stickley style that I found online. I ended up buying around 77 board feet of lumber but have some leftover (4-5 bf) that I’m going to use to make a matching footstool. I’d be happy to share specific dimensions Ken, or any other information you want. Let me know.

Thanks - specific dimensions would be great. That looks like about a 65" flat screen which is what I have. Mounted on the wall like yours. My old light colored modern style stand was for a 44" TV and is way out of proportion to the new one.

I got most of what I needed from your drawing. I have my own finishing schedule that I've used on the other A&C furniture in the room. Quick question - where did you purchase the lumber - it looks very nice?

I bought the lumber in Gibsonville at The Hardwood Store of North Carolina....awesome place...yes the TV is 65”. I’ll measure some specific dimensions and post them later today.
