Polycrylicover Woodsong II High Performance Stain

I had to use this stain, Woodsong II High Performance Stain, to match the existing cabinets. It says to seal the stain with laquire sealer. Can I topcoat this with Polycrylic. Thank for your help.

You should be able to safely use a water based Polyacrylic over Lacquer or any oil-based finish providing they are fully cured.

Not an expert, but I have done it. Just make sure your stain has dried completely before doing it.
