plans for a Queen size bed

Can anyone direct me to a source I can get plans for a Queen size headboard or bed. It would be for my two year old grand daughter and will probably be painted white.

The response I have had to posts on this site have been invaluable. You guys and gals are great help.

Larry, this might be a good place to start: SketchUp 3D Warehouse. Some of these drawings are very detailed and can make excellent plans. Others are just conceptual drawings but can serve as inspiration for what you want.

+1 to Ana White. This one could be modified easily to accommodate at 60" x 80" queen size mattress.

Also Google "queen size beds for kids". There are no plans but lots of pictures for design ideas. Overall dimensions are usually given in the "full product details" section.

I like Woodsmith plans. They aren't free but the cost is low. I've built 4 beds from their plans and we were very happy with the results. You can buy and download them quickly.
