Outreach Committee,
The Holly Springs Kiwanis would once again like to invite you to the annual Kids Appreciation Day event. We've been unable to coordinate schedules due to the club picnic and covid restrictions for a few years.
In the past when the NCWW group attended, y'all had the largest participation of any group. Once again I'm being asked if the wood group is going to return.
This year's event will be on Saturday, May 7th in Holly Springs again at Suggs Family Farm. I believe the even hours currently times are: setup before 10am and activities complete at 3pm for cleanup. The instructional and activity interaction with kids on donated projects have always been a huge success. As a non-profit, NCWW would not have any fees for entry. Power would be provided for the tools.

If anyone has any questions, please let me know.

Thank you,
Kevin

I want to thank everyone that came out today! The weather was great for most of the day. I don't know who was having the better time, the kids or the NCWW crew.
You guys were a huge success once again at this event. Thank you from the Holly Springs Kiwanis and from a fellow wood worker.
By my best guesstimate we had over 800 kids enjoying the event and ~2,400 attendees in total today.

The event was extremely well run and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The kids were thrilled and the only disappointment was the we had to shut down a little early because of the rain, so some kids had to be turned away. I am already looking forward to the next time we can break out the trailer.
