Yesterday I was working on a project in ecabinets and I needed a formula that would give me the measurements that I needed to lay out an octagon. So I made a calculator in excel to help.

I have been using eCabinets fulltime since 2011 and experimented with it off and on a couple of years before that. I have had great luck with it. As you said it does have a learning curve but once you get the basic concept down it is a really versatile program.

They do have online training videos that you can sign up for that are very affordable and will help get you up and running.

The forums are good place to ask questions also.
