Hello,

My name is Matthew Haney and I am happy that I found this site. I teach Industrial Arts at Canton Middle School in Western NC. I also live in canton. Canton is about 20 minutes west of Asheville right off of I40. Most folks will know where it is because of the smell from the Paper Mill in town. We always say that is the smell of money.

I have a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, however, I did not have a passion for industry. I have picked up woodworking from some really great teachers I have met and worked with. I love sharing what I have learned with my students. I also love metalworking. I look forward getting to know you folks. Let me know if there is anyone close in the area. :icon_sunn
