Pretty big pucker factor getting to this place to see the lava.

Some amazing tears in the ground from the eruption.
This is not a hike for the inexperienced nor for anyone with poor night vision.

Although I've been on the Big Island, and sailed around it, I never saw much of the volcano because of low clouds; thanks for sharing pictures of it, they're spectacular!
