"Modern" Plant Stand

A family member gave us a plant a while back, and it's just been sitting on the floor. I finally made a stand for it.

It's the "4 legs and a half-lapped cross member" design that seems to be popular. I used cherry and finished it with a coat of Tried and True Danish Oil followed by several coats of 1lb cut shellac that was applied with a pad. I chose to repot the plant since the original pot didn't quite go with this design.

My wife sees that and guess what I'll be making the rest of the summer, this fall, into winter.

She has a lot of plants.

That's pretty sharp. I was thinking of doing something similar to hold my wife's water filter.
