Saw the new Milwaukee miter saw last night marked down to $549 (down from $649-$699). Get a 10% Lowe's coupon from ebay and you're below $500. Fine Homebuilding had rave reviews of the saw - its sitting right next to the Ridgid (which I have) for the same price. :gar-Cr

Plus you get the Ridgid mobile stand free if you buy either saw. Pretty sweet deal if anyone is in the market.

Be careful. There are 2 models of this saw and by spec you can't easily tell the difference. The 6950 & 6955. The 6955 is the one that the 5 yr warranty and supposedly better bearings and such.
