The overall building measures 30 x 72, Ill have a 30 x 52 dedicated shop space inside. It also has a 12 x 72 open attic (load bearing for lumber) above.

That's more than lumber storage space.... That's room for you second floor shop too!!!! So jealous

I see you may have an opening for stair access? Did you have a plan for bringing lumber and other things up and down?

there is a set of stairs in the "garage " portion of the building, plus the gable end above has an access door.
