I have used that same knife for about 20 years, works just fine until you find yourself on the wrong side of the square! last year I upgraded to the Veritas knife which has a double bevel - a truly wonderful tool, but then again not $10!!!

Oh man, at that price a gloat for sure!

I have a different style - double edged - that I use occasionally.

I doubt anyone else could be so dumb, but, herein a warning. If you develop a burr on the edge of the knife and decide to smooth and hone the edge, going through the grits to a Norton 8k stone it will shave like a razor. If it slips and engages your finger you will need superglue or sutures. DAMHIKT!

It doesn't need to be so sharp. Yep, I know that now. :eusa_doh:
