Looking scrap piece of solid countertop material

Hello guys, i am looking for a scrap piece of solid type countertop material approximately 18"x30" in size. Either segmented solid Red Maple countertop material, Corian, or solid granite type material. I was wondering if any of you guys install countertops professionally and would have scrap pieces such as this for sale or if someone in the Eastern portions of NC may be familiar with somewhere i could locate some leftovers in this size range?

Get your phone book out and see who does counter tops in the area. They have lots of scraps for free or might sell a small piece cheap.

I have gotten a bunch of granite scraps from this place in Winterville:

They are great for reference blocks, the scary sharp method, or for lapping machine beds.

If you can't get any from Aspen Tops (link above) let me know. I'm sure I have some pieces that would work for you.
