I am looking for modular storage boxes like the ones in the attached photo. This photo is from Woodsmith. If I can't source the exact boxes, I will welcome suggestions for something similar. My shop could use a little organization.

Lots of options out there depending on your wants/ needs. Milwaukee pack-outs somewhat dominate the market these days. I use Dewalt boxes myself. More generic options are also available at the big box stores/ Harbor Freight/ etc.

Check out Plano fishing tackle boxes. Academy has a good assortment. Great for fastener organizing. I made a 2 sided rack on a lazy susan that holds a dozen on each side.

Those boxes look like a PITB to make. I would just build the rolling cabinets and buy commercial boxes as suggested above. I would even dispense with the drawer slides and just slide the boxes into adjustable shelves for added flexibility.

Buy more as you need them. Build new carts as you fill them up.

I would measure the space where I wanted it to be and find some boxes that fit the space based on depth and width. Then build a base with some casters on it and measure the remaining space to determine how many boxes can be stacked on the base.

If you are rich, Festool has some very nice boxes that stack and lock together. i even think they might have a base with wheels.

Makita "interlocking cases" are compatible with Festool, at least in terms of footprint and being able to stack together. No idea if they're actually any cheaper.

Seem to be cheaper than Milwaukee to me. I'm waiting on the drawer style since it doesn't make sense for what I would want to do-turning demos-to remove cases to access a case. But then, I'm planning to cut back on demos. Not that I do too much of them.

They are compatible with Festool because they are made by the same company, Tanos. But we have a bunch of these at the Furniture School and I have never loved them - just got them at a really good price.
