Looking for a source for clock finials; anybody know of a good one? I've checked several on-line (~12), but most of those are larger than what I'm looking for, or REALLY expensive ($40-175 each). I'm going to be doing a Vienna style clock and need a total of 6 finials;
TOP (19) - 1 1/8” x ~3 ¼” -3 each
SIDE (21) - ¾ ” x 3 ½” -2 each
Bottom (20) 1” x ~3 ¼” -1 each
First one will be white oak. Not sure I want to invest in a lathe just yet.

Thanks,

You might look on the attached link, and then root around on the site, and elsewhere, for stock turnings.

Small turnings

There are a lot of turning suppliers, for crafts and millwork, and while you might not get white oak, you won't pay big money for them, and I'm sure some minor tinting can get birch turnings to look pretty close. If you have to have white oak, it's going to cost you.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
