I saw the free shipping but not a discount. Prices were same as LN's site for bench planes.

I'll be darned. He must have taken the discount off. He was giving 5% on orders over 200 or 250 and 10 % on orders over 400.

Hard to pass up a discount! I bought a 5 ½ which fell short of the 10% break so I was compelled to order a 162LA as well. I had occasion to call them this morning.....the sale was just through the holidays. That must have been in the fine print of the website.
