AWESOME JOB! I really liked what the beatles did to that piece of wood.
Curious, where did you get wood with that much figure? Purchased, or something you picked up?

Do too many more of those and I'll have to give up turning and start studying at your feet.

Jim, that blank came from the Raleigh Woodcraft. I often look at their selection to see if anything piques my interest (and falls within my budget) this piece did and ended up having much more figure than I thought it would :eusa_danc :eusa_danc It was around $15 9 x 9 x 3.5"

That is a very beautiful piece of craftsmanship. That bowl has awsome lines. Might not hold soup, but that would be perfect sitting on your lap full of popcorn, or peanuts. Keep up the good work. I want to get a lathe one day. You will have to give me a lesson when I do.
