This is what I need the Math wizzes for.

I have a couple columns that been sitting around that needed a job to do. I found them the job of looking good on the shed.

Before:

But they were just a hair too short.
So I figured I can extend them.. I mean, it's for a Shed, right?

Glued up the pieces, chucked them in the lathe and went to town.

I've been working on this shed for a year now.... on and off of course.
Hope to get it complete in the next few weeks.

I like your house of doors. Very interesting.

I might have used treated wood for the bottom of the columns, but it looks like the may sit on something else?

Nice salvage skills...

Thought I recognized those doors. Great job, thanks for sharing

They were pretty much in the way in the shop. And I didn’t feel like breaking them down.
So, I figure if I get desperate for mahogany... I know where some is.
lol.
