A few weeks ago I asked about laminating wood, needed some ideas on how to get thicker wood to get glued down to the backing...and got some cool ideas. Matter of fact, the best one was a slightly curved clamping caul that pushed across the work with pressure pretty evenly, not just on the ends like I'd been dealing with. This method also allows for the parts to not scoot around, so the job turned out really nice. I've tried over and again to make this project, and finally have some success!!! I've got two more in the works, hopefully they will be better than this one.
