L & I. J. White plane?

I picked up a pre-lateral #4 today... In really good shape for $25. Looks like a Stanley but I'm no expert on the pre-lat stuff. It has a L & I.J. White iron in it. Never seen one before. I am familiar with the company...I have a set of framing slicks and gouges made by them. And I know they made plane irons.

Anyone familiar with them?

Mystery solved...

It's a nice type 4 Stanley (1874-1884). It has the patent info inside the adjuster knob and has "73" cast into the bed behind the frog.
