We really had a great turnout of volunteers and the booth was packed several times during the day. Will probably be even busier tomorrow as more kids should be attending. I took a few pics on my cell phone but am too tired tonight to post anything. Probably be Sunday after I can recuperate from all the fun I've been having.

Thanks to all the volunteers and the attendees that stopped by our booth to say hi.

The booth was set up well, well manned and quite busy when I went by. It was good seeing familiar faces.

Here are some that I took with my vintage cell phone - sorry if they're a little blurry.

We talk a lot about how busy and popular the NCWW booth is - well, here is the photographic proof! (more photos to come - all of them came in sideways?! ugh!)

Here are some more of the pictures I took.

If you haven't been to a Klingspore Extravangaza - think about doing it next year - it is a LOT of fun!

And a huge thanks to the folks who stuck around and helped clean-up (I didn't get a picture of everyone) so thanks to those of you who aren't pictured here!

I only had time to stop and take a couple of pics toward the end of the day yesterday. Hank finally got a shot at the bench and a little of what I had completed. I would have liked to have gotten more done, but it's all good. I spoke on tools and technic more the past couple days than I have in several years, it was a total blast. Hoping I inspired some folks to get busy in a shop as well coming and joining this community of NCWW.

I feel badly that I couldn't spend any time at the NCWW booth. Every time I tried to walk away from the Western Piedmont Woodcrafters area, someone would come running after me to bring me back for another sale. The NCWW area was set up and organized very well, and my hats off to all the volunteers that came Thursday and set everything up, and those that came to help out. I know Phil made it, as evidenced by all the pencils in people's shirt pocket with a wooden rose on it, but I didn't get to say hello. I especially commend those of you who came Thursday and stayed over for the whole event. I came home late Saturday evening and went to bed soon after. Today after church I think I slept for over 4 hours, a rarity for me. Now to start thinking and planning our next event, THE MIDWINTER BLAHS PICNIC! Time and place YTBD, somewhere near the Hickory area, and I-40 in February. Stay tuned for more information!:icon_cheers:banana::eek:ccasion1

Sorry I couldn't stay around for the pack-it-up party, but I was just feeling too tired after 3 days of fun. I barely made it here up north before the front went through. High, high winds and a definite change in temperature here. Down to about 29 this morning, but will get up to about 60 by afternoon. We rescued the dog from the boarding kennel Sunday and she was very happy to be back home.

Love the Extravaganza, but I sure get tired working on those concrete floors all day. I don't know how Coleman does it with all the running around he is doing during the event. Cheers to him and Klingspor for putting this on for all us woodworker's benefit. :icon_cheers

I have a few more pictures that Susan took while we were there. I just have to get them rotated right size up before posting them.
