Asking $400 for the DC (with Dust Dog canister filter). Is this a fair price? Hoping to move quickly on it if it is as the good deals are gone in the blink of an eye usually!

I would says its a decent price but not a bargain. A new one sells for $699 at Packard Woodworks. I think I gave $100 for my DC1100 and about $125 for the wynn filter, but I got a deal on mine.

Thanks Ken - Id seen that post on Lumberjocks too (perhaps I should have prefaced my initial post with that ). Seems like that deal was a pretty good one. Not even close to what Adam got - a fantastic bargain (hope that was the subject of a gloat post when you got it)!!! I've traded some texts with the CL poster and he's firm at $400 so I may let this one pass by for a better deal. Thanks for the quick responses!

Yeah, for 400 vs 699 new, I'd probably elect for new also. Maybe you'll find a better deal.
