This is a Stanley 101. Might look like a toy, but it's a nice plane to carry in your pocket

Looks like you've got a lil' cute on there ;-)

How often do you find yourself using it?

I can imagine that they are very useful. What's kept me away from getting one is that I can't seem to develop the touch to get the blade adjusted right. I have no trouble with the many larger Stanley & Millers Falls planes I have...turning a knob & moving a lateral adjustment lever doesn't take much talent... but these manual adjustment planes seem to give me fits.

:icon_thum Got one of those to work some end grain. I tweaked it by flattening the sole on 100-grit sandpaper.

I have some chinese knock-off of that. I keep it in my apron pocket and use it all the time. I've got it set to take almost nothing off...I mostly use it to trim the torn fibers around counter-sunk screw holes.
