I am stumped!

Trying to remove the metal braces that are in the corner of this picture frame. How to do it with out too much damage to the frame?

Use needle nose pliers to grip the metal spline and pull straight inline with the mitered corner to the inside of the frame.

What mike said. If you have a pair of needle-nose vise-grips even better.

Correct, regular needle nose not working. Another reason to go shopping at lowes. Don’t have a vice grip style.

Clamp one side in a vise, then slide the other side parallel to miter and away from the outside corner. That will remove one and then you can use pliers to extract the metal clip.
