Yup!!

Joe helped me build one 13 years ago. Works like a champ and its my goto jig whenever I'm ripping stock to edge band plywood.

Joe, Where have you been hiding this! This is exactly what I have been looking for to cut longer strips for rocking chairs!
Most other jigs do well with short pieces, but don't help much with 4' pieces.

guards up to show what is going on,, my large scale model ship build requires lots of long strips.. I have found this simple set up works great, the wedge splitter keeps the cut strip off the back side of the blade..

Here was my approach. The little stick of wood holds the jig in place against the table as longer boards are passed by. Once the board end is past the stick, the stick flips down and becomes the board pusher and the jig is slid/guided by the fence.
