Has anyone used or made their own jig for drilling horizontally ?

I bought one at an auction many years ago. It was a shop made contraption but works very well. You're welcome to come see it and take notes and dimensions if that would help.

I've thought of converting an old tabletop drill press for that purpose. Unfortunately SWMBO has more pressing projects. In her opinion.
