Heart Trivet - pattern by Charles Hand

This is the first major thing I've cut in about a year and a half. It's cut from 1/2" maple and currently has two coats of Danish oil.

What was the motivation?

I had a reverse shoulder replacement surgery with an assortment of complications. Just finally getting back. I see a fairly involved pattern and have difficulty resisting the challenge - lol!

I cut it with my scroll saw - total time about 5 hours.
