guest access?

I forwarded a link to a thread that I thought would interest a non-member friend.
He says he can't view it without logging in.

Is there something I'm missing?
Is there a better way to get it to him?

Here it is. I thought he would find it helpful to see the whole thing rather than me cherry picking what i thought were the salient points.

ok, when I logged out, I was prompted to login prior to seeing the content of the thread. I think it is the permissions assigned to the attachments in the message.

While logged out, i was able to view threads that did not have attachments or photos embedded. He can join, it's no cost, and view everything that fits his interest.
