Naaah, don't feel stupid Ron, this is my actual strategy these days. I find it easier/quicker to look up info online than it is to find the hard-copy manual in my stack. So just call it your strategy and be proud of it! And if of course you can't find it, a fellow NCWWer will do so for you - even easier! Sometimes NCWW is just the best way to 'know things'.

Helps to know actual model #s, which I don't necessarily have unless I am in front of the tool (i.e for a 25+ year old PC miter saw that I bought used and do not have a manual for...).
