My granddaughter, loves the Harry Potter series. I read them with her, every book, every movie.
Last week she asked me if I make wizard wands. Of course I can! I will see her tomorrow. One in pecan, one in walnut. I wonder which one will choose her.

Outstanding work Berta! When my daughters were young I partially turned then finished off with some hand carving, two Harry Potter themed wands. I know they still have these! It will be cherished! Nice job!

Beautiful work, Berta! Since your granddaughter's interest in wands is the result of her love of the Harry Potter stories, I suggest that you consider embellishing the story about the wands to include the fact that at the core of each wand is a hair from a unicorn. No further explanation is needed...it is all magical!

So, is there a picture with the model / wand-owner?!

My son was going to make wands for a Harry Potter 'watchathon' and I suggested he make a wand out of alder as a play on the elder wand. Your wands are impressive!
