Good deed just waiting for a few volunteers

I spoke with a nice lady whom is tasked with cleaning out her late fathers woodworking shop. She described a typical shop with multiple stationary tools, multiple routers (I think see said eight) plus the normal drawers and boxes full of parts and pieces.
She has no idea where to sell nor how to price. She needs some help.
Could we pull a team together to sort and list what she has and then determine options to move forward?
The shop is in Lexington. Let me know and I will get all parties communicating

Thanks

I live about 25 minutes from Lexington, I can help with moving stuff on the weekend or listing it on various places for sell outside of our own forum listing here. My weekdays are rather tied up with work or I’d offer to sort as well.

I thought we at one time had a plan in place for just this purpose--it was before grayness covered my head and brain; does anyone recall this?

So I went down and visited with these folks and spent some time foraging through a lot of stuff. Here are some pictures.

this is the first group of pics, everything is for sale. This gentleman built furniture and fly rods. Some of these pics show some of his parts and supplies for rod building. I’ll post more in a few minutes.

So what I’m proposing is the morning of September 25, anyone that is interested come to this location between 9am and 12noon, as a cash and carry deal. I could not photo everything and I couldn’t pull everything out completely. I just didn’t have that much time. I can tell you that there are several more hand and block planes in dusty but good repair, a few handsaws in good shape. Both benches are for sale, drill bits, hole saws, bench tools and routers, nail guns, these are vintage in terms of what you can buy today but are of good use. I think there are some deals to be had here and help out this family as well. This is a show up and look and either help or buy, cash and carry deal on a first come first serve basis. I know that not everything is going to sell and I wouldn’t expect it to. But I would like to see us come together and help out the family of a fellow woodworker. I will post the exact location closer to the date however it’s just a few minutes off of 85 and old 64 in Lexington.

Will this be open to the public, or NCWW 1st dibs? I know a guy in Lexington who may be interested in the fly rod stuff.

The drawer and a half of carving tools and the chisels still with the end caps look like they are nice.
I add my applause for the effort to do this.
If it comes time to post ads online, I can help with pointers from Woodnet or with posting in the Swap 'n Sell there if that is preferred.
