Finally done with my bar project!

working on this one for a couple of years. When we built the house five years ago we had this space - originally supposed to be a closet - plumbed and left the doors off with the idea that one day we would build a small bar. Finally got it done! Also attached (or tried to ) my first hand cut dovetails..... or more accurately the first ones I have kept and used vs made into firewood...... full disclosure - the drawer is about a half inch shorter than my original plan........cabinets are birch plywood with poplar face frames. Door inserts are just quarter in hardboard that I milled a groove into.

Well it seems that you need to age your projects before completion as well! My wife is patient, or at leat pretends to be. Good thing too, because my project time-frames are measured in years, not weeks or months.T

Those dovetails look way better than any I have ever cut - but then that is a pretty low bar.

Nice project, and well done. Keep at it!He
