drove there today and got some decent deals. the unisaw was still there at noon and priced at 900. tomorrow is half price day so...... a little surface rust but should clean up nice. 8" delta jointer 500 today was still there at noon. lots of smalls as well. now for the gloat.....

last pic is a whole lotta micro drill bits in variable sizes and some miscellaneous odd and ends. some of you may want to drop by tomorrow.

An eight inch jointer for $250! A Delta Cabinet saw for $450! Somebody go buy that stuff!

I did not hear half price yesterday. They said that the prices would be negotiable. Still, close enough for me to stop by again.

Well, had to stop in Durham today, so I figured I was close enough to go check it out

Got there about 12:30, and Delta Cabinet saw and jointer were still there. They did not go 1/2 off on those, only 25% off, so the cabinet saw was $675 (FIRM) and the jointer was $375. No space in my shop for those, but I did pick up four old wooden levels to go with my old 8 ft level. Paid about $33 for all of them. Stopped by the new Klingspor's on way home (WOWOWOW) and saw a similar one in the old tool section for $75, so I'm happy with my find.

wow, that saw looks exactly like mine except my rail is the same color as the unifence, not black

675 is still a very good deal

Anybody else come home with a great deal? As always, these things are always too far away to go and check out. If I didn't have the Jet 10" Super Saw cabinet saw with Shop Dawg router table top, I'd have to drive all the way over there for the Unisaw. Really great buy for someone.

Well, I think that I got a great deal.

7 tools for $60.

That includes:

a minty English Stanley #92 and very good #90, and a very good+ USA #78

a minty Miller Falls cigar shave

a very good Preston small rabbet plane with matching numbers -pretty nice!

2 Stanley #140's , one missing the side plate. These are the first I have ever seen in the wild (i.e. not through a tool dealer)
