I'm taking Pam to an event at 2 but can run a little late if I need to.

I'm still planning this thing, but probably won't be early enough for breakfast. I'll get a biscuit on the way.

This was a very successful event we had today. The weather was great and the Girl Scouts all seemed to have a lot of fun making our various projects. They made light sabers, bird houses, mason bee houses and other small items to take home with them.

Our volunteers had a great time generating all the smiles and thanks. As a thank you the girls all signed a card for us and provided us a box of Girl Scout Cookies.

Berta and maybe some others took pictures and should be posting soon.

That first picture is yours truly holding the thank you card and box of Girl Scout Cookies we were given for participating. Unexpected, but very much appreciated.

It was a fun and rewarding morning and afternoon and as mentioned by Ken, the children seemed to have a great time and we did as well because they made great students... they were willing to listen and follow directions which made it easy for us.

And, it was a double pleasure for me because I was able to meet some of my fellow NCWW members for the first time.

When did anybody have time to make pictures? I was working the whole time with more waiting in line, didn't even stop for lunch.

It was great fun and this was a super group to work with.

No wonder there was an extra plate...... It was a good day with great weather. We had as much fun as they did Im sure. Great group with great Leaders. Definitely one we could do again if were asked. Big thanks to Ken for coming out to a Outreach event and seeing what we are about.
