Installed a depth stop kit from Grizzly on my drill press.

I am sure it works better than the "dial" on my Delta!
What I like is the "thumb speed nut" that some drills come with. Push to slide the nut close, then the threads fine tune. I would bet though they don't use standard threads so we can't just get one as a part.

This is so much better than nothing, I'm pretty happy with it.
Before I had to raise and lower the table to adjust the hole depth.
If I had to change like maybe go a little deeper, then I had to take a chance on moving my center point.
For $20 it is a good addition for me.

There are two details that can be added that will help a little bit.

The first is a slotted washer to fit the threaded rod. Put the washer between the nuts and it will keep them from rotating under bumping loads. This is standard on a lot of drill presses. The one shown below is a washer I filed out to fit the rod. It works.

The next detail is a little more difficult. Drill and tap the end of the rod and put a washer there that's big enough to keep the top nut from accidently spinning off and getting lost in the sawdust.
