Dovetail Saw Question

If you could only buy one dovetail saw and you were not sure what thickness material you would be working with, would you buy 14tpi or 20tpi? Rob Cosmans is out of my price range at the moment. Lol.

Personally I’d go with the 14tpi you really don’t need anything finer and it’s easier to sharpen when it is needed.

My saw is 15 and seems perfect, so between 14 or 20 I would say 14.
