Dover Inlay Co. closing

Don’t know if you folks ever used them but today is Dover Inlay’s last day of business. I found that out is morning when I inquired about my order. I hate to hear a company like that not being able to make it. I’m sure they employed some very talented people whose knowledge probably won’t be passed on.

I have been building a Demilune table per Steve Latta’s per in FWW. I have the table essentially done and have been waiting for the inlay material from Dover to come in. Well, I guess I’m switching to plan B for the inlay now. (no, I don’t have a plan B yet).

Striker, Try www.inlaybanding.com I havent used hm but it looks interesting. I've been making my own but next time I might buy from them because their a pain to make.

Man that really sucks. The same family has run the business since 1919. I guess when I use up what I have I will need to look elsewhere.

What really hurts is these folks were always available to help you even if you asked advise about making your on inlay.
