Disable Customize Profile?

DaveO and I have been working with Steve Hall regarding a confusing option under User Settings.

"Customize Profile". At least two of us assumed it let a user set site wide formatting customizations.

In reality, it controls the individual users personal profile page formatting.

We'd like to recommend removing this option from User Settings. It seems needlessly complex and has lead to confusion.

Dave and I vote disable.

If not, I'd recommend changing the text of the string to something more meaningful. "Personal Profile Format" or "Customize Personal Profile" and insert a blurb at the top of the formatting page that this only affects ones personal profile.

Anyone care to chime in?
