Design needed

We need a design (some designs) for a modular project set for our outreach programs.

What I envision is three to four projects that can be built from the same set of materials.
Maybe 6-8 precut boards that when joined in different ways could be a toolbox, shelf, step stool, plant stand, etc.
Maybe some boards would be adapted by cutting with a hand saw to make parts for one or another project?
Not every board would be used in every project, but a pool of precut pieces that could be used for many different projects.

Do we have a good designer out there who can make some drawings for this?

Should we can turn this into a contest?

I think a design/drawing contest is a great idea. Although, my designs/crayon drawings don't count as such.

I began working on this tonight and came up with a possible bird house/tool tote concept. However, as Mike knows, my originality has definite limits.
