Delta 46-460 lathe opinions

Does anyone own this lathe ? I am considering this along with the Jet 1220 VS

We've had two of them in my school shop for just over a month now and I have to say I'm very impressed to date. The only thing that I would change on them is the tool post. I just think it should be 1", but I'm sure that jet has the small size took post as well. My kids have turned them on witht the spindle lock locked droped the tail stock onto the concrete floor more than once and they still run as smooth as silk. The Tool Nut had a great deal last month. It included bed extension, chuck, and cheap set of tools for less than $850.00.
