Defective Door Closer

Can anyone identify the manufacturer of this very old door closer? It has failed. The hydraulic action is gone, and it allows the screen door to slam shut. None of the adjustments makes any difference, but I'm going to disassemble it just in case it's something simple and not something worn out.

Just order a new one, they aren't all that much and it won't have to match exactly.

Cannot help with this one. I have replaced them for over 50 years, and have never seen one of that design. Very unique.

If you are going to stay in the home and the door gets frequent use consider getting a better closer than those long skinny ones.
